About Eko Flood USA

The EKO System of removable modular floodwall protection originated in 1988 in Europe to provide an economical, high quality system of environmentally sensitive flood protection to the European market. Numerous installations have been made throughout Europe and they have proven through the years to be reliable, dependable and economical. None have ever failed. In core city areas, the wall panels, stored in containers, can be quickly installed by teams with minimal training, ensuring a quick response to an impending flooding situation. When the flooding recedes, the wall panels can be easily removed and stored in their containers, returning the surrounding lands, roadways, buildings, factories, hospitals, parks, towns and cities to their normal functions.

EKO/USA partners with our European founders sources of the engineered components, and their highly experienced and trained soils engineering and foundation design team and technical on-site support staff.

EKO/USA was founded in 2009 to represent EKO in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand markets, to work with potential customers coordinating the project from initial inquiry through the process of water flow, soil engineering tests, foundation analysis and design, economic analysis, component design and fabrication as well as working with all the various agencies having oversight; Corps of Engineers, FEMA/DHS, EPA, State and local environmental/state/local/flood protection and control organizations with oversight on flood-zone management and public safety issues.

The EKO Floodwall in Prague is the largest installation in the world with over 3.5 miles.
