The foundation is usually the greater portion of the project expense. Wall components and all the above ground elements can easily be estimated. The largest variable could be in the foundation and this can only be determined through the very thorough on-site analysis and information gathering. Once the soils testing/boring/engineering work is completed, estimates for the actual design and construction can be developed.
