Materials used in the EKO-System of removable floodwalls are of the highest strength and durability aluminum and steel.
High strength steel shoring posts are used for walls up to 30 feet and require additional knee bracing to support the panel beams. Knee braces are fabricated from steel.
The interlocking beam design assures a strong, watertight wall. Water tightness is achieved with replaceable rubber gaskets that slide into the retention grooves in the panel beams and vertical shoring posts.
All bolts, anchor plates and panel tie down rods are of corrosion resistant steel and are designed for repeated use.
